Cooly Rocks On is a nostalgia-fueled festival held in June in the seaside town of Coolangatta. The festival is a celebration of all things rock and roll, vintage cars, and the pop culture of the 50s and 60s. Over the course of the festival, the streets of Coolangatta come alive with rock and roll music, vintage and classic cars, dancing, and market stalls selling vintage and retro items. The highlight of the festival is the Grand Finale weekend, featuring a huge outdoor stage, music, dancing, and hundreds of classic cars on display.
