The Bleach* Festival is the Gold Coast’s largest arts and cultural festival. Held annually in August, the event aims to connect the community with art and cultural experiences in unique and unusual public spaces. Over the course of the festival, local and international artists bring music, theatre, dance, visual arts, and outdoor installations to venues across the city. Attendees are encouraged to explore and interact with the works, and the festival provides a platform for emerging artists to showcase their talents. The program is diverse, featuring everything from large-scale operas on the beach to intimate pop-up performances in alleyways.
